How To Feel Reenergized In 2025

It’s a new year…

That should mean a fresh start for your goals, reinvigorated drive to conquer your resolutions, and a clear mindset to take on 2025.

…Right?

Now that we’re a few days into it, what if you don’t feel the excitement and energy that a new year should inevitably bring?

Don’t worry – you’re not alone!  The change of the calendar on its own doesn’t necessarily create change.  Sometimes, we need a little something extra.

Here are a few of our best tips:

Relocate – if work feels like the same old, same old, try changing the factors that ARE in your power.  What times do you feel most motivated to get things done?  Where – maybe a cute café or a new coworking space – does your brain thrive?  Get out and see!

Remember: SMART – You’ve probably heard of SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound) goals, but your aim to stay SMART may have gone out the window when we’re surrounded by others setting life-changing, brag-worthy, big-enough-to-share goals.  Don’t get distracted by others’ highlight reels, because the truth is that they’re not going to share when their lofty goals don’t go according to plan.  Remember to stay SMART, and small.

Rest – We can’t do our best if we don’t rest, and we often neglect the need for some downtime over the holidays. Sure, we may have technically had some PTO over Christmas and New Year’s, but we also probably stayed busier than ever with social obligations.  If you’re craving some relaxation, make sure you move it to the top of your to-do list before your resolutions take over!

There you have it – our three R’s to set your new year off right! And if you are looking for a few New Year Resolution tips or ideas for becoming more effective and efficient, here are a few of our past blogs that will help you with those traditional January resets:
