One of our team members here at The Joshua Group, Ashley Seeds, came across a TIME Magazine article on "Ten Things That Require Zero Talent." Here’s what they said:
Being on Time
Work Ethic
Effort
Body Language
Energy
Attitude
Passion
Being Coachable
Doing Extra
Being Prepared
However, we think the list shouldn’t be limited to just these ten things. In fact, according to Gallup, only 10% of people actually possess the innate skills to lead. The vast majority must rely on effort, ingenuity, diligence, and things outside of talent to make a difference. Here are a few more that we think could be added to the list:
Empathy
Follow-Through
Thoughtfulness
What else would you add? And what could you stand to work on?
